Costa Rica Rum Cakes is a family owned business with family members from The United States and Australia.

Our roots in the food and bakery business go back four generations to our original Frisch Bakeries in Detroit, Michigan. Our unique rum cake recipes have been handed down through the years from fathers and mothers to daughters and sons.

Our travels have taken us to the pristine yet endangered tropical rainforests in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Brazil, Jamaica, New Zealand and Australia. Our passion for the rainforest canopy layers, vegetation, fauna, birds, butterflies, frogs and animals inspires us.
